What To Expect

The Intro Wall is the perfect introduction to Via Ferrata combining adrenaline, safety and unforgettable scenery. Via Ferrata is a specially designed climbing route equipped with fixed steel cables, steps and ladders, allowing you to ascend a mountain wall without needing previous climbing experience.

This guided half-day adventure takes you high above the dramatic Romsdalen valley, offering breathtaking views of iconic peaks such as The Troll Wall, Romsdalshorn and Bispen. Safely secured to the mountain at all times, you will climb natural rock formations, airy sections and constructed elements that make the route both exciting and achievable for beginners.

Your experience begins at Norsk Tindesenter, where you will meet your professional local guide, receive all necessary equipment, and take part in a full safety briefing before walking to the start of the wall. After the climb, the return hike follows the popular trail down from Nesaksla, bringing you back to Åndalsnes with stunning photo opportunities along the way.

The Intro Wall is graded at difficulty level B and is ideal for anyone looking for their first Via Ferrata experience in spectacular Norwegian nature.

Sorting, ranking, and search results

Activity name

Top10Adventures® wants to make your searches as relevant as possible. That's why we offer many ways to help you find the right experiences for you.

On some pages, you can select how to sort the results we display and also use filter options to see only those search results that meet your chosen preferences. You'll see explanations of what those sort options mean when you select them.

If you see a Badge of Excellence label, the award is based on average review ratings, share of bookings with a review, and number of bookings through Top10Adventures® over a 12-month period.

The importance of any one factor over any other in a sort order varies, and the balance is constantly being reviewed and adjusted. We're always updating our systems and testing new ways to refine and improve your results to make them as relevant as possible to meet your needs.
