Petanque (boules) lesson in Provence
Overview
Our pétanque lessons are available every day, all year long. The tour last at least 2 hours. First we'll teach you, only in English, the rules of the game along with a brief history of the sport. Then you'll learn how to handle the boule, throw, shoot, score, and master the fine art of disputing a point. You'll play competitive games of pétanque (with a glass of rosé in your hand, of course!). Your hosts will also have some homemade Pastis for sampling. We'll present the winning team with a commemorative trophy during an apero with Pastis, rosé, red wine and traditional homemade Provencal snacks (pâtés, tapenade, mushrooms and goat cheese) while overlooking one of Provence's most magnificent landscapes.

What To Expect
After a overview of the rules of the game along with a brief history of the sport, you'll learn how to handle the boule, throw, shoot, score, and master the fine art of disputing a point. You'll play competitive games of pétanque (with a glass of rosé in your hand, of course!). Your hosts will also have some homemade Pastis for sampling. We'll present the winning team with a prize during an aperitif with homemade Pastis, rosé & red wine and traditional homemade Provencal snacks (homemade wild boar pâté, tapenade, and pickled mushrooms) while overlooking one of Provence's most magnificent landscapes.
