E-Bike Adventure: Authentic Transylvanian Hills
Overview
Explore on a e-bike the rolling hills of typical scattered Transylvanian villages near Brasov.
In the morning, you will meet the guide in Brasov and start the cycling trip to the village of Cristian, with its Saxon architecture and 13th-century fortified church, which will be your first visit of the day. Continue towards Vulcan and prepare for the first climb of the day, overlooking the beautiful landscape. Once in the scattered village of Holbav, it is time to test your limits. We will climb to the high plateau and admire the stunning scenery. We will reach the foothills of the Măgura Codlei hill. In the end, we will get back to Brasov, enjoying the downhill and the tranquility of the evening.

What To Expect
Your day begins with a personalized bike fitting in Brasov. Once you're ready, we’ll pedal toward Cristian, a village where history comes alive. You'll admire charming 19th-century Saxon houses and visit the 12th-century Fortified Church, a resilient monument of Transylvanian heritage.
Leaving the village, we enjoy a scenic, twisting 4 km climb toward Holbav. With the help of your e-bike, this ascent feels effortless, allowing you to focus entirely on the stunning mountain scenery and snap photos without losing your breath.
After a quick break for refreshments, we leave the asphalt for a picturesque gravel road through a quiet valley. You’ll ride along a mountain river and catch a glimpse of traditional life, where locals still work their land much like they have for generations. It’s a peaceful, honest look at the Transylvanian countryside.
As we reach the high plateau, you’ll truly appreciate the power of the e-bike. We’ll glide up the final steeper sections to reach the foothills of Măgura Codlei, offering spectacular 360-degree views over the rolling hills. We’ll end the journey with a fun, long descent back toward the valley, returning to Brasov energized and inspired.
