If you're looking for private cooking lessons, our incredible full-day tour starts in Florence and includes a tour of the historic central market as well as hands-on teaching in a typical farmhouse situated in the breathtaking Tuscan countryside.
You will visit the famous San Lorenzo food market, where you will interact with Tuscan-born farmers, including bakers and butchers. Locals shop here, and you may peruse with them an extensive selection of cheeses, olives, fruits and vegetables, as well as balsamic vinegar.
Then your guide will take you to a state-of-the-art kitchen. It is there, in a gorgeous Tuscan farmhouse on a private estate, that the class will begin. This goes beyond simple demonstration. Under the guidance of the skilled chef, you will prepare a traditional four-course Tuscan meal on your own. He'll show you how to make rich beef tomato sauce, pasta made with farm-fresh eggs, a delicious bruschetta, roast pork loin with potatoes and tiramisu. Chianti wine is included.

You'll go to the well-known medieval food market, where you'll meet the individuals that make Tuscan produce, such as farmers selling fresh vegetables, butchers, and bakers. Locals buy here, and you may browse with them while they select from a wide variety of specialized foods, cheese, olives, balsamic vinegar, fruit, and vegetables.
After your visit to the Mercato is over, your guide will transport you to the Walkabout Florence kitchen in the countryside. The class will start there, in a stunning Tuscan farmhouse situated on a private estate. This is not just a demonstration. You'll be cooking a real four-course Tuscan dinner on your own, guided by the experienced chef. He will demonstrate how to prepare fresh pasta made with farm-fresh eggs, a flavorful meat sauce, and a tantalizing bruschetta made with fresh vegetables from the estate's kitchen garden.
