Balthazar River ain't named Grenada’s Great River for nothing, as they say locally in Grenada. Fed from sources located deep in the island’s interior, this river is nestled between an exotic tropical rainforest. This adventure is nothing less than “a thrill of a lifetime!” Wet, wild and wonderful from the word GO, jump in the water and get ready for a journey alongside trained guides, as you spin and swirl in the currents of the river and soak up the exotic scenery of tropical vegetation and wildlife. Navigate the rushing rapids of the river as you're introduced to a seldom-seen Grenadian attraction. If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
