What To Expect
A beautiful day together with a certified guide hiking in the Austrian Dolomites - Kalkkogel just in near Innsbruck. This is an intermediate hike for those motivated to spend a day outdoors hiking and ready to make some kilometres on foot. It is a 13,5 km long hike with an elevation of a maximum of 228m.
The pick-up is from the hotel in the morning and after a half-hour car ride, we will arrive at Axamer Lizum. From there we are going to take a cable car up the Hoadl where our hike is going to start. During the day we provide snacks and refreshing drink (included in the price). Of course, there is an option to stop at the Adolf Pirchler hut and try the taste of
the traditional Austrian kitchen (at your own expense). From there the hike will continue by passing by the cosy Kemater alm which has a little zoo with rabbits, goats and other farm animals. Later on, we will continue the path down to an Axams where our pick-up is going to wait for us to bring us back to the hotel.
In the winter months, a relaxed winter hike on the Nordkette is possible even in snowy conditions. We adapt the hike to the weather conditions.
