What To Expect
Experience the beauty and majesty of Lim Bay (Limski kanal) on our expert-led outrigger canoe tour. Lim Bay is a special marine reserve and also very well-known for its fish and oyster farms. The bay is almost 13 kilometres long, surrounded by breathtaking cliffs covered in lush greenery. This stunning natural wonder is nestled between Rovinj and Vrsar on the west coast of Istria.
This half-day tour offers an unforgettable adventure for families, couples, and anyone seeking a unique Adriatic experience. Our outrigger canoes are renowned for their stability and smooth rides, and no prior experience is necessary.
Get up close and personal with marine life, while learning about the history of Lim Bay and its local myths and mysterious caves, including the legendary Romuald's Cave.
We'll paddle to famous Pirate's Cave Bar, take a break there and enjoy the stunning view of the bay.
We will swimm at a wild solitude beach.
We could encounter dolphins while paddling.
At the end of the tour you will enjoy Istrian delicacies (oysters, prosciutto, cheese, truffles, olive oil, wine, homemade bread) in the restaurant Fjord (optional, with surcharge).

The maximum weight capacity for kayaking is 340 lbs / 154 kg.
Nov 2021No experience is necessary! Beginners are welcome on all of our kayak tours. Most of our guests have never been in a sea kayak before. Anyone in average physical condition may join a kayak tour. If you can hike or bike, you can paddle our sea kayaks. You do not need any swimming skills either.
The only prerequisite is a healthy spirit of curiosity and adventure.
Regardless of age or skill level you will find that our expeditions offer enough flexibility to make your experience with us safe and rewarding. We will show you proper sea kayaking technique and water safety before leaving the beach. And your expert guides will be with you throughout the adventure to give you pointers and improve your skills.
Sep 2022As an active member of the Dolphin SMART program, we do not have physical contact with the dolphins on Lim Bay Outrigger Canoe Tour. We watch them in their natural habitat from the boat.

Jan 2023If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
