Alaska Forest & Feast
Overview
Discover Alaska through glacier views, rainforest trails, coastal scenery, mindfulness, and local flavors on this unforgettable experience in Southeast Alaska. Your journey begins with breathtaking views of the Mendenhall Glacier and surrounding mountains before heading into the heart of the rainforest. Along the trail, your guide will share stories of the land, Indigenous traditions, native plants, traditional harvesting practices, and depending on the season, even wild blueberries along the forest path.
Beneath towering Sitka spruce and hemlock trees, you’ll slow down and experience Alaska through all your senses before arriving at the beach for a peaceful guided mindfulness meditation surrounded by the sounds of waves, birds, and ocean breeze. After your time in nature, enjoy a delicious meal prepared by a local chef featuring locally sourced salmon chowder and fresh seasonal salad inspired by Alaska’s coastal bounty.
