Half day Wildlife and Nature Photography
Overview
Borrow a camera with tele-lens from us, or use your own mobile or camera, and follow our local Sami photo guides to experience moose and other arctic animals. Our guides were born in the area and have been out in nature since childhood. We share our knowledge of photography, nature and Sami life to give you a full experience of being part of our area. After the trip, you have practiced using the camera or your own mobile phone, gained more knowledge about the Arctic nature and animals and learned about the Sami people.

Meeting and Pickup
Pick up in front of Kiruna tourist office 08.15 am Camp Ripan 08.30 am Icehotel spring/summer/autumn 08.00 am (March 1- Oct 31), winter 09.00 am (Nov 1-Feb 28.) Please be on location 5 minutes before departure, we are not waiting longer than 5 minutes for you. If you are late, please contact us.

What To Expect
We drive by car, in the direction of the day. When we stop the guide helps you get acquainted with the camera. We practice photography in order to be well
prepared to take good pictures of landscape, animals and plants during the tour.
We choose our themes depending on the weather and Sami eight seasons and tell Sami knowledge about nature and animals.
We can never guarantee you pictures of, for example, wild animals, but we will search for good nature sceneries, sneak up on arctic animals like moose,
reindeer and birds and search for opportunities to photograph what is special for the season. Also the guide will tell about the area. The tour ends with a cup
of coffee or tea and a cake.
