One Day Bike Hire
Overview
A mountain bike with knobbly tyres and a minimum of front suspension is recommended for riding the Timber Trail. At Timber Trail Shuttle & Bike Hire, you can now hire the right bike for the terrain, along with a helmet, spare tubes and other required gear.
You have a choice of one of our excellent Trek Roscoe 7 Mountain Bikes or one of our Trek Powerfly 4 Hardtail E-Bikes and Trek Powerfly 4 Full Suspension E-bike.
*Note you will need a shuttle to get you to the middle of the trail. Ongarue to Piropiro.

What To Expect
The Trek Roscoe Locked Suspension is a mid-fat trail hardtail bike for riders who favour a fun and lively ride. It is stable enough for new riders and playful enough to make experienced riders smile. You will feel confident and in control on this bicycle - especially when the trail gets tough. It’s built for ease of use and durability so you can focus on enjoying the scenery and the ride instead. With a Trek Roscoe, it doesn’t matter if you’re a newbie or a pro. Whatever your skill level, you’re going to have fun.
Do you feel you may need some assistance on the Timber Trail? Then the Trek Powerfly E-Bike is the perfect bike for you. Equipped with performance parts, a high-end Bosch motor, powerful battery and intuitive controller you are in for a confidence boost of note. Switching between minimum and maximum assist is a breeze and having that extra assistance on the more challenging climbs may make for a more enjoyable ride. Easy to operate with plenty of power, the Trek Powerfly is a perfect fit for novice to pro riders.
