Mosaic Making in Parma
Overview
This hands-on workshop will immerse you in the ancient art of mosaic making, leaving you with your very own hand made souvenir.
Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, you will be able to make something beautiful during these few hours at Giuseppe's workshop. Whilst you are making your mosaics, you’ll learn about the history of the art form in the region, as well as Giuseppe's own story about his mosaics in Parma (which you will have already noticed along the streets).
We want the day to be fun and relaxing for your whole group, so if there is anything specific we can do to accommodate you, please let us know.

What To Expect
Unique 1/2 day experience creating a 10cm x 10cm mosaic of your choice with local Mosaic master Giuseppe Fornasari. Giuseppe will provide a fascinating (but brief!) introduction to the history of mosaics and he will then help you to choose your design and show you how to create your very own mosaic.
After the course has finished we will cement your design and you will be able to pick it up in the afternoon (if you have chosen a morning course) or the next morning (if you have chosen an afternoon course).
