Overview

Experience a panoramic drive as you tour Nevis learning about its rich history. A photo moment is given at the birth place of Alexander Hamilton the first US Secretary of the Treasury located on the water front.

Continue along the island road to the well-preserved colonial buildings of the Bath Hotel, the very first tourist hotel in the Caribbean, built in the 18th Century for the cream of Plantation Society. The church graveyard holds many persons including Thomas Cottle the founder of The Cottle Church in 1822 which was the only church where slaves and their plantation owners could worship together. There is also a vault the holds the remains of John Huggins (1763 -1821) the developer of the Bath Hotel.
