Full day tours last 8 hours. Half day tours last 5 hours. If you are looking for an informative educational tour with in-depth explanations, then this is for you.
Learn about the Polynesian way of life, its customs, geology, flora, fauna and history. I have lived in on Tahiti since 1993. I married a Polynesian in 1995. I have the impression that I was destined to become a guide, in fact my husband Coco’s family name is Faaterehia which can mean to guide and I just adore guiding visitors around this stunning island. Perhaps there is something to the Polynesians belief that the name you give your children can influence their character. Today I am one of the most experienced guides on Tahiti and id be delighted to show you some of our sites. Places visited will depend on the time available, tours can be personalized and include a maximum number of sites depending on the length of the tour chosen. I also have other tour options listed such as city tours and west or east coast tours

Maraa Grotto (pass by)

A geological curiosity the cave is an old lava tube today full of fresh water due to the numerous natural springs in the area, swimming is forbidden but the cool fresh water is so refreshing few polynesians can resist a cooling dip in the pool, water drips from the ceiling all year round but our waters are so pure that there are no stalctites or stalagmites.
