Privat Old Town Walking Tour
Overview
On this tour, all the attention of the guide will belong to you. You will visit all the most important sights of the medieval city as well as some secluded corners that the majority of tourists do not see.
In the Lower Town, you will see the Town Hall Square with the medieval Town Hall and one of the oldest operating pharmacies in the world, the ruins of a Dominican monastery, the Church of St. Nicholas, the medieval city wall, unique merchant houses and much more.
You will visit the Danish King's Garden, one of the most romantic places in Tallinn, and learn about the origin of the Danish flag.
In the Upper Town, you will see the Alexander Nevsky Orthodox Cathedral and the Lutheran Cathedral of St. Mary, the Estonian Parliament and the Government Office, the residences of the nobility. You will enjoy stunning views of the city and the port from the observation decks.
Along the way, you will hear about the history of the city, about local customs and everyday life.
