North Iceland is home to a variety of spectacular hiking routes, offering both mountain and sea views in spectacular landscapes. As this corner of the country is visited far less than the main trails in the south, it’s likely we won’t see another soul on our travels. We may also end up in places so rarely visited, the land has reclaimed the trail – if you’re looking for a true sense of adventure, you’ll find it here.

What To Expect

We're so fortunate to have a range of spectacular mountain trails right on our doorstep. One of our favourites is the Siglufjarðarskarð pass which departs from right here in town, climbing up to bold peaks before winding through beautiful valleys towards the ocean in Fljótin.

However - this isn't our only option! We believe in running activities that suit you, so we'll take into account your hiking experience, holiday goals and preferences to plan your perfect mountain adventure in north Iceland. Get in touch for more information!
