Have you always wondered what it's like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving in Cozumel, but aren't quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. Blue Note Scuba Cozumel offers this 1 dive program from our training site . While not a scuba certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health. What To Expect
Discover Scuba Cozumel is for beginners to try scuba while in Cozumel without certification. We will meet you at Tikila Beach Bar where you will meet your Scuba Instructor. Before getting in the water we will review scuba gear and the skills that you will learn. We will then practice safety skills in 3-4' of water. After skill review we will do 1 fun dive in water up to 20'. This dive will last approximately 40-50 minutes.

No, you don’t need to have any previous Scuba experience, but you must be able to swim without a flotation device.
Mar 2022Participants in the Discover Scuba Diving in Cozumel cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive.
The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS.
Jun 2024If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the adventure start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the adventure start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
