This was one of the most unforgettable experiences of our trip to Holbox! Everything was very well organized from start to finish, and the small group made the tour feel personal and relaxed. Our guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate. He explained the science behind the bioluminescence, pointed out the stars and constellations, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the excursion. Kayaking under the night sky was already magical, but seeing the water glow with every paddle stroke and while snorkeling was absolutely breathtaking. Swimming among the bioluminescent plankton felt like being in another world. If you're visiting Holbox, don't miss this tour. It's a unique experience that you simply can't capture in photos—you have to see it with your own eyes. Highly recommended! They say it's the best to see it during August/September. We did it in the end of July and it was great!

Absolutely incredible experience. 10/10 and Eddie plus our captain were the absolute best. They got us so close to the whale sharks swimming with us and our kids as young as 6. The lunch they made us in the nature preserve where we saw flamingos and puffer fish was incredible. They were thoughtful and knowledgeable and fun and so good with us and the kids! Once of a lifetime for all!

We went as a family on a private tour. Everything was great from the breakfast, to the fresh ceviche lunch in the mangrove and of course the highlight of swimming with the whale sharks. Wow! The guide David was very competent and told us a lot on the way. The captain did his best to make the ride comfortable but it was bumpy out there today. I would definitely recommend this operator for tours out of Holbox.

Perfect day
I booked the private trip to be able to use the time with whalesharks as much as possible. This was really worth on the day of the trip. I enjoyed one of my best days at the see - after we arrived to the spot, whalesharks were just everywhere, coming from all directions. All boats and their guests got the chance to see these wonderfull creatures. My captain and guide worked perfectly, we started to be the team after a few minutes of the first jump. I managed to be with whalesharks for two 30 minutes long jumps (the advantage of the solo traveler). Thanks also to Willi for all his help!

My instructor was Jesus & let me tell ya . . . If Jesus can’t help you walk on water no one can . . . Jesus was very patient & personable. I was able to get up & paddle at 58 yrs of age with bad knees & a bad back so it was cool . . . I wanted to try it & saw this as low stakes with the water there to break your fall. . . Just make sure you’re in at least 3 to 4 feet of water so there’s enough depth that you don’t hit bottom when you inevitably fall :D

Wonderful Kayak experience coupled with Bioluminescence discovery and nice surprises from our amazing guide Victor Hugo! My daughter was mesmerized! Special thanks to have dragged us all the way while we were struggling with paddling. It was 3 days after full moon, and despite the absence of total darkness, Victor Hugo had some useful workarounds for the phenomenon to be seen and experienced by all of us.Recommend ++++++

The pick up was smooth and easy, instructions clear and the drive to the site was safe and pleasant. The activity itself was lovely - we were given interesting information both on the bioluminescence and the constellations and had a picture taken with the Milky Way in the background.
