Commemorate Mexican independence like a local with a delectable chile en nogada in a beautiful local home. Discover the dish's fascinating history and prepare it from scratch like thousands of families around Mexico. Learn about how the new Mexican nation converted a colonial recipe for delicious meat-, fruit- and nut-stuffed Poblano peppers in creamy walnut sauce into a symbol of their young country's extraordinary gastronomy, then prepare the dish from scratch using fresh local ingredients under the guidance of an expert chef. Around two hours later, enjoy the delicious results of your efforts at a table you've decorated with handmade serveware and festive decorations.

What To Expect
Celebrate independence month as millions of Mexicans do with this chile en nogada cooking class and festive dinner!
Discover the fascinating story behind one of Mexico's best-loved dishes before rolling up your sleeves and preparing it yourself using fresh seasonal ingredients at the beautiful Condesa home of your chef/guide.
Around two hours later, use Mexican Independence Day paraphernalia and serveware made by local artisans to prepare a picture-perfect table, then dig in to a delicious sweet-and-savoury poblano pepper stuffed with protein, fruit & nuts and served with a creamy walnut sauce and garnish.
Dietary requirements will be accommodated, and Mexican red wine and soft drinks will keep you hydrated throughout the experience.
