What To Expect
We invite you to be part of a exclusive adventurous people to explore the underwater world, no previous experience needed we´ll teach you all the way though it. The day starts with theory class followed by a pool training, everything you need before we go to the ocean.
You will receive brief theory about the diving and the activity to be done, you will learn how to use the diving equipment in shallow water and you will receive an easy and quick introduction of your instructor with everything that is needed to start exploring you will practice with your instructor the exercises to be more confident and prepare you to enjoy that beautiful activity in the sea.
During the afternoon it´s time to go to the ocean and explore, always accommpained by a certified instructor side by side. The experience includes 2 dives in 2 different reefs in Playa del Carmen.
PREREQUISITES:
Minimum age 10 years, accompanied by a tutor or responsible.
Medical certificate specifying "suitable for diving practice", and answering the medical questionnaire before the activity, with signature and date.
INCLUDES:
All diving equipment for the dives.

Participants in the Basic Diver – Bautismo cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive.
The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS.
Jun 2024If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the adventure start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the adventure start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the adventure start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the adventure local time (EST).
- This adventure requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
