The POP Experience with Ámbar
Overview
The Dominican Republic is beautiful and everyday you can find some new place to enjoy that only some locals get to experience but Puerto Plata in particular, has this amazing combination of natural attractions, culture and history that you can rarely find in one place. It also baffles me how you can be at the beach enjoying the warm weather and 15 minutes later, up in the highest point of Puerto Plata, overlooking the city and surrounded by an entirely different ecosystem and cool weather.
So tag along with me not only to explore but to experience Puerto Plata and but to appreciate it as only locals do.
What's Included
- Snacks Small snack of what we call “Dominican Charcuterie”, water or 1 beer.
- Alcoholic beverages Aside from the welcome beer, I do not include other alcoholic beverages nor lunch unless is requested and will be added to the final quote.
Meeting and Pickup
Hi! If you arrive on a cruise, I can meet you outside of the port near the nearest exit. And if you are staying at at a hotel I can meet you at the entrance/lobby or hotel parking space holding a sign of your name
What To Expect
I will pick you up at at your location start by stopping at a Dominican convenience store right in front of the beach to have a snack, then proceed to go to a local beach spot where you can swim and take pictures, after that we go to the cable car and explore the beautiful botanical garden on the top, after that we will walk through the historic center and finish our tour at San Felipe fortress and drive you back to our meeting point.
