A delightful afternoon! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was wonderful!

This is our first trip to the Boone area, and we thought a downtown food tour would be a fun way to explore. Yes, it is! Our guide, Mya, is delightful, engaging and knowledgeable. The tour is planned around local, casual eateries and offers a variety of culinary experiences as well as an interesting overview of the history of Boone's town center. The highlight was the bacon jam at Betty's Biscuits. Haven't stopped thinking about a way to go back, have fried green tomatoes, biscuits, assorted jams and relishes.

We surprised a sister on her (65th) birthday with a carriage ride and she said it was the best birthday ever! Chad is so awesome, knowledgeable, funny, patient, and his love for this beautiful property is contagious. He took all of the pics we asked him to, and even suggested a few more shots. The carriage was gorgeous, clean, comfortable. Chad had steps to make it easier to get in and out of the carriage, and our group of 6 older people had no trouble with that. Most of the ride is in the shade, and the trails are mellow with hardly any bumps. We were able to spend about 30 minutes looking around the mansion and stretch our legs. The mansion has a gift shop, so bring your wallet if you might like some souvenirs. Chad even suggested a GREAT restaurant after getting to know us for a couple hours, not far away (Dan'l Boone Inn in Boone) and he was right. That was the perfect ending to such a fun day! Absolutely recommend!!

My son and I took the adventure, we both found it to be very fun informative and educational about the historical significance of the buildings and properties that we visited. It was a great way to walk around the town. And be quite honest found it kind of hard especially for some reason the morse code. Kudos to you guys who developed this. So I recommend it to all for the money you couldn't beat it and it was really really fun.

We took a carriage ride while on a bachelorette trip in Blowing Rock. We had a great time with Chad - he was fun, insightful, and a great guide! Highly recommend while visiting the area!

We had an amazing time on the Boone food tour! We’ve been visiting the Blue Ridge Mountains for years but learned so much more about the area on this tour. The food stops were amazing and really painted a picture of the area. You won’t leave hungry!!

Mya is incredible! She was so kind and thoughtful. She made the tour very fun and she was very accommodating. The food was incredible. Everything we tried was over the top great. Betty’s Biscuits was probably our overall favorite of the stops. They had the cat head biscuits, but don’t leave there without trying the fried green tomatoes. I really can’t think of a negative. Our experience was very positive and I’d totally recommend booking with BlueRidge Tours.

The Blue Ridge Food Tour exceeded my expectations! The stops and food were all so good and Mya our tour guide did an amazing job sharing local history. I learned so much! I have lived in the area for 6 years and learned so many interesting facts that I never knew! Each stop was yummy and well thought out, great portions- you will not leave hungry! Our first food tour, and it was FANTASTIC!!! Mya is a friendly, personable tour guide, and has a great sense of humor. On the food front, the fried green tomatoes with goat cheese, bacon jam, and sweet peppers was unbelievably delicious!! Also, the brisket sandwiches with eggplant fries were phenomenal. We were stuffed by the end of the tour. We had the "Sips" package, and enjoyed the beers and drinks as well. Worth every penny, and would be awesome to do with a group of friends.

We took a carriage ride with Chad while on a bachelorette weekend in Blowing Rock. He was awesome! Great personality, chock full of info and lots of fun. He genuinely cares about his horses and his passengers. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a scenic, fun, outdoor activity while in Blowing Rock!

We have done a lot of different food tours in a lot of different locations over the years, but I have to say that Blue Ridge Food Tours is among the best. You can tell that the food they present is high quality. They aren't trying to cut corners with cheap food... they're serving the best. In addition to the great food, we learned so much history about Boone and the surrounding area. Our guide was professional, engaging, and kept things running smoothly. We also really enjoyed getting to meet the chefs at several locations. You can see the passion they have for what they do. Our group agreed that after experiencing the Downtown Boone food tour, we definitely want to book the Downtown North Wilkesboro food tour by Blue Ridge Food Tours in the future.
