This was a very enjoyable and unforgettable experience. The pilot, Jean-Phillipe, was very knowledgeable and helpful, even assisting me with getting back to the train station. The gentleman who provided ground service was also very helpful and knowledgeable. I would love to use this firm in the future for additional balloon travel.

Beautiful castle about 1 hour drive from Paris. Our guide picked us up at our hotel at 1PM and we returned to Paris by 6PM. He provided historical information regarding the castle on the trip there as well as recommendations for additional excursions we could take that match our interests.Fontainebleau is a sprawling, stunning castle which encapsulates thousands of years of history and architectural styles. Built originally during the reign of Phillip 1 of France (1060-1108) this castle housed Kings and dignitaries through Napoleon III in 1870. Its beauty and gardens rival Versailles but it has none of the massive crowds. We visited the castle on a cold January afternoon and were able to have much of the castle to ourselves, as barely 100 tourists were there. Unfortunately due to the weather the Gardens were closed but visible from the windows above. One could easily spend a few days here absorbing the grandeur, beauty, and history of the palace and exploring the expansive gardens and surrounding forests.If this castle isn’t on your “bucket list” of things to do in Paris you should add it. I would love to return on a warmer day and explore the gardens and grounds. The lack of crowds is also preferred as you can take your time to explore and not feel rushed or overwhelmed by too many people. Numerous activities are offered on the grounds (hot air balloon ride and horseback riding). We didn’t have time to explore the little town.There is a cafe and restroom facilities on the grounds. However, the town is directly adjacent and offers additional dining options.Treat yourself to this stunning historic museum!

Our guide was wonderful. She was extremely thorough and knew the all history and information of every detail of the palace. There is such a rich history there and it is sadly overlooked.

Lucile was an excellent tour guide. She was on time and presented a lot of historical information. Highly recommend.

This was an amazing tour! Chris was a fountain of information and made the tour so much fun! I found Fountainbleau much more interesting than Versailles. The opulence there is incredible! I would encourage anyone to take this tour. An added bonus is that it is not as crowded as Versailles.

We had a great guide called Martine who has been giving guided tours for over 25 years. Martine " knew her stuff", most knowledgeable, polite, interesting to listen to and a good sense of humor on the life of Kings, Emperor Napoleon and ohers !

Pilot Jean phillip was excellent! A great ride and especially the landing! The champagne at the end was refreshing and needed! And the crew was nice, fun and quick with build up/tear down of balloon. Pilot looked like a young Van Gogh!! Before the ear was cut off!

it was a life-time experience. talk about the balloon flight itself - the view was fantastic as we were blessed with very good weather. But i would like to bring to both the operator and Top10Adventures® 2 issues: the appointment time advertised on Top10Adventures® was 6:30pm, but the actual flight time started at 1630hrs. it could easily trap people from other region of the world that are not too used to 24hrs time listing. second, the operator indicated the meeting point at carrefour of Av de Maintenon. it could easily leads not french speakers to relate the meeting point to supermarket carrefour. can we change the meeting point description to crossroad or junction. having said all the above, i still wish to give credit to the balloon pilot, who really did an excellent job. merci beaucoup

Excellent weather day. Our pilot was funny, awesome and could immediately tell very experienced. The flight was just amazing and wish could have lasted longer:) Thank you for the great memory.

I was intrigued because I had only known of hot air balloons flying early in the morning, so I was anxious to try an evening flight. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The area is beautiful, so many trees and green as far as you can see. The pilot, Jean-Philippe was professional and so helpful. I felt completely safe with him and the crew. As the sun went down it was a magical experience, the light over the horizon is something I will always remember. After a smooth landing we were served champagne and enjoyed the setting sun.

Thanks again to the whole team for this incredible experience above a site of Fontainebleau this 30/05, at dawn, to Jean-Philippe an outstanding pilot who knew how to make this flight magical, suspending our pod above the pond of a superb castle, connecting us with nature by grazing the trees, a breathtaking view👌 to finish with a glass of champagne in hand and a pastry from the whole team, what a beautiful attention 😊 a very nice team, professional, family I recommend 👍👍

Departure from the castle of Fontainebleau for a balloon baptism. Installation of two large reactors to inflate the balloon. We take our seats climbing the pod and here we go. We take altitude slowly, the burners whirl under the hand of Jean Philippe our pilot. We discover the castle its canal and park. We realize that the immensity of this remarkable forest of Fontainebleau. The pilot tells us the different cities in the distance and we can distinguish even in very small, the Eiffel Tower. The pilot descended to brush against wheat, barley and rapeseed. Top Jean Philippe, what dexterity.... We fly over a few villages, and it's already time to land. We take the position that the pilot taught us at the start and here we are in a field in Larchan. After helping to tidy up the ball (not obvious) we finish with a cup offered by France Mongolfiere. I really enjoyed this flight, a real discovery, very professional staff, thanks to Jean Philippe who by his calm put us at ease right away. Long live the next flight.

This was amazing. The crew was helpful even though we didn’t speak French. The whole event was amazing!
