Our tour guide Danny was incredibly knowledgeable, funny and flexible. We had a possible delay getting off our ship and he was happy to make it work. The tour itself was fantastic. Great tour with Mandy!!
Mandy was an excellent tour guide, so passionate about her home, the Shetland Islands, and its history. The island is beautiful and Mandy took us on the scenic drive to see the Cliffs, and along the way, we had the added treat of watching the sheepdogs work the sheep. She picked a great spot for lunch with the local foods. Mandy was very articulate and knowledgeable. She made our tour one of the best ever! We were also very lucky to have great weather.

Our family had an amazing tour with a professional and informative guide, Danny, who shared much knowledge along the way. In addition to the wonderful green countryside, we got to admire the spectacular Eshaness Cliffs in real windy conditions as well! We also got a tour of Lerwick with recommendation for pubs and restaurants for our stay. All inn all a really positive experience!

Fabulous Tour!
Mandy was wonderful, knowledgeable and very keen on history and the stories behind it all. She talked almost non stop, but she was professional and so interesting. She took us to the cliffs and let us get out and stroll a bit, but was keenly aware of the Clift edges and making sure not to get too close. We saw so much of the area then we stopped for lunch, which was delicious. There we got to know Mandy better and on our way back we even stopped at her house and met her husband. It was great and good to feel so welcome in a foreign country. We invited them to visit Boston. We had fun with Mandy.

A very enjoyable tour of the southern aspect of Shetland, made all the more memorable by Mandy's personal approach & insights from someone who has lived & worked on the island. Having previously visited Orkney, we had wanted to see how life in Shetland compared, & Mandy fully fulfilled this for us through the very interesting detail she put into the tour, including additional stop points we has requested. Particularly enjoyable aspects of the day were the walk across the tombolo at St. Ninian's Island (including coffee & biscuits very kindly provided by Mandy for us), seeing puffins on the cliffs at Sumburgh Head, & also the very interesting museum to the Shetland Bus Story at Scalloway. The day had so much packed into it & was a highlight of our short visit to Shetland, much appreciated, thank-you Mandy !

We thoroughly enjoyed our Shetland tour with Maureen, who is knowledgeable and super friendly. She was able to condense our scheduled 8-hour tour into 6 due to time constraints. She showed us many more things than we had anticipated. Though the tour was based around the TV show Shetland, Maureen also talked about the islands’ history going back to the Vikings. Very informative, and we plan to live stream Up Helly Aa in January 2026. Our stop at the original Cake Fridge was delightful! We would highly recommend this tour.
