I found Winterent on Instagram, and I am so glad I did. We ordered 2 adults suits, which include gloves, boots and neck liners, I also ordered my toddler a snowsuit, boots, mittens and neck liner. We had the clothing delivered to our hotel. and it was literally available from the moment we arrived. All clothing and shoes were true to size, none of us got cold once, and most importantly my toddler was warm throughout. I also purchased a hat for my son through Wnterent which was excellent as covered his ears and neck. When we departed we arranged for them to collect from the hotel, which they did. I couldn't recommend them enough, and would encourage people to use them instead of buying outfits that might not combat the artic conditions.

I did the forest horseback ride and it was an amazing experience, HIGHLY recommend! They were kind enough to pick me up from over an hour away when my ride arrangements fell through, were so friendly, and made sure I was comfortable during the whole ride. It was a peaceful ride through the forest and we stopped for a breathtaking lake/mountain view. If you’re adventurous, love the outdoors , want an experience that is thrilling yet safe, this is a great idea!

Excellent trip. Managed to get to see the northern lights. definitely worth it.

The clothes are in good condition and keep you very warm. Definitely reccomend it to people who are having outside activities in winter season.

Paul is a very good tour guide he is very professional and always check our needs. He drives us to three different spots to catch the aurora and take many photos for us ! I highly recommend this private tour. Thank you for creating unforgettable memories for us :)

Luca was an exceptional guide and truly made this experience unforgettable. He reached out ahead of time to let us know the tour start time had shifted slightly, which I really appreciated—it set the tone for how organized and thoughtful the entire experience would be.We met downtown at the main office and headed out with a small group of eight, which felt just right. Everything was clearly well planned, and Luca created a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable and informed throughout the tour.I did this with my 10-year-old daughter, and it turned out to be one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences we’ll both remember for years. After some incredible viewing and photo opportunities, Luca built a fire where we warmed up with hot drinks and cookies—such a cozy and perfect ending to the evening.Absolutely worth it—100% recommend!

Paul was an excellent tour guide! There was low activity for the night, but he took us out anyways and we ended up seeing some amazing northern lights!! He also got fantastic photos!

Dress nice and warm, wear decent boots or your feet will get cold, be aware and careful of slippery ice. It's definitely an exciting experience and rustic in some aspects with the guide building a fire in a teepee where you can keep warm. That of course means clothing will need either washing or airing due to the fire. It all makes, together with the location, a very memorable experience.

Just an incredible tour with Juho on his family's reindeer farm with nonstop highlights all morning - feeding the reindeer, watching Juho's father interact with the herd, enjoying homemade pancakes and berry jams made by Juho's mother Liisa, and getting to walk the adorable Noppe in the forest. Loved that White Winter Lapland is a working, non-touristy farm that lets their reindeer live as they wish without forcing them to do anything (even the walk), and that the family works the farm themselves and were happy to share nuggets on reindeer herding and life in Lapland with us.Would love to visit again some day!

We had Paul for the hunt and he is really the best person you can get, he really does everything to make the experience the best as possible - even if it seems impossible because of the weather, he makes it possible 😊 he takes amazing pictures and makes the hunt really special. Also the whole communication about the hunt beforehand from his brother Louis was on point, he updates you about the situation, so you have all the information you need and you know where you stand. If I would go on more aurora hunting tours in future, I would choose this one over and over again without hesitation - I wouldn’t even try to look for others! It’s really a value for money for sure. Thanks so much for this magical night!

We had a fantastic tour guide Emma she was so professional and patient we went looking for the Northern Lights and we saw them thanks in part for her patience and knowledge we ate yummy sausage @ a campfire she built and we had a fabulous time thanks Emma for a fabulous experience @ Rovaniemi

We joined this tour with my sister and her boyfriend, and it turned out to be so much more than just a typical aurora tour — it actually felt like a real hunt ✨Both guides were highly professional, but at the same time incredibly warm, fun, and easy to connect with. They explained everything in detail, guided us perfectly, and made sure we were always in the best possible spot. 💚What really made a difference was the passion — especially from Louis. You can tell he’s genuinely into what he does, and that kind of energy makes the whole experience feel different… in a good way. 🫡And I have to say, the dedication didn’t just stop when the tour ended — the follow-ups, the extra tips, and the attention were definitely noticed and appreciated. 🙏🏼If you want an authentic aurora hunting experience with people who know exactly what they’re doing (and make it a little more memorable than expected), I’d absolutely recommend these two awesome brothers! 🤞🏼

From start to finish this was by far the best experience we had in Finland. This is our second trip to Finland this year & we have fallen in love with this beautiful reindeer farm. We were welcomed like family by Juhos wonderful parents , the farm is so personal, peaceful & a very special place to be in nature with these amazing animals that steal your heart. They definitely calm your mind & have such gentle souls . They are so well cared for and the family are so passionate about their work. We learned so much about the reindeer here and our son got to walk a lovely reindeer through beautiful scenery , the highlight of his holiday. After this we went to relax in a beautiful wooden cabin where we were invited to have some homemade pancakes with very tasty cloudberry Jam & hot blueberry juice . If you go to Lapland, this is one experience that you have to do , this is for everyone young or old. The only thing we didn’t like was leaving but we will definitely return. We began our trip at the Rovaniemi Insider office where people who needed it were equipped with outdoor clothing. We then boarded a coach and had a cosy, comfortable journey to the sled dog kennels. On arrival at Husky World we were greeted by and had a lesson from Mila, Husky World owner, about how to drive the sleds. The group was then split into two smaller groups. My family were in the group that went out for the husky ride first. As two adults with two children (tween and teen) we were happy to split up, and were allocated a sled for each adult, with one child riding in each sled. We met the dogs, got ourselves set up on the sled, and then we were off! The dogs were so excited to go. The sled ride was absolutely amazing! The dogs clearly knew what they were doing, but this was not a passive experience, and as drivers we needed to be alert to controlling the speed of the sled and sometimes helping out the dogs on some of the hills. The whole experience of being with the dogs, racing through the snowy forest scenery and the feel of driving the sled was fantastic. After the ride we swapped over with the other group and enjoyed watching them set off before having a tour of the kennels. We then headed into the cosy wooden hut where we warmed ourself around the fire and were served delicious hot juice and a very generous supply of yummy gingerbread / biscuits. Another of the owners told us about, and answered lots of wide-ranging questions about sled dogs and other aspects of living in Lapland. During our time at Husky World we had lots of opportunities to spend time with the dogs, both before and after our ride. The dogs were friendly and . Throughout every aspect of our visit, including through their interactions with their dogs, their instructions to us as visitors having sled rides with their dogs, and the passion with which they spoke about their dogs, it was clear how much care and resoect the Husky World team had for their dogs, and how the wellbeing of the dogs was their top priority. Although our children were too young to drive sleds themselves (only adults can do this) they also loved the sledding experience and being around the dogs. This was a fantastic trip. The experience of driving a sled, meeting the dogs, finding out about sled dogs, riding through the gorgeous snowy forest landscape, tasting the yummy hot juice and sharing this with my family was all wonderful. I am really happy that we booked this trip with Rovaniemi Insider and that our experience was with the Husky World team. Our guide Jess helped this trip run smoothly. NB. The Rovaniemi Insider office could benefit from more seating for visitors to use whilst waiting to meet their guide and for other guests to be kitted up etc.
