I had an amazing experience on this tour! From start to finish, my guide made me feel safe, comfortable, and never rushed. He took his time throughout the hike, answered all of my questions, and shared a lot of interesting information about the area, which made the experience even better.He also went above and beyond to help me get incredible photos and captured an amazing drone video that I’ll have forever. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a great experience, not just getting through the tour.If you’re thinking about booking this hike, I couldn’t recommend him more. We had a fun day with Erica learning about Brazilian food culture and exploring some family owned brands. She also took us to a local grocery store and explained various produce, which was very insightful ( she is very engaging)! the cooking class was very relaxed, enjoyable, and DOABLE! And the food was delicious!

I had heard so much about the Favelas of Rio that I took the opportunity to visit one on my trip with friend to Rio this month. Our guide was Carlos A., born and raised in the Rocinha Favela that we visited. Carlos is a very down to earth guide who does not hold back in laying bare the truth about the Favela in its physical, social, economic and historical dimensions. You will get to walk up and down the narrow streets of the favela and see its residents as they go about their daily lives. We were treated to a demonstration of Capoeira, a Afro-Brazilian blend of martial arts, acrobatics, dance and music at a local school. All-in-all I enjoyed the time spent learning about the Favela and seeing up close how the reality compares to the the stories one hears about these places.Be forwarned that the trip up the favela is by mototaxi. You are basically riding shotgun on a motorcycle up a narrow winding road with lots of traffic. It can be a little nerve wracking, but well worth the excitement once you reach the higher points with their view over the homes and other structures that make up Rocinha. The way down to the starting point is by foot down narrow alleyways that would difficult for people with disabilities.I highy recommend this tour for a view into a part of Rio de Janeiro that contrasts sharply with its beautiful mountains and beaches.

She spoke both English and Spanish fluently, which made communication easy and enjoyable for everyone in the group. She was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything clearly and thoroughly, sharing interesting facts and insights throughout the tour. Incredible Half-Day Tour of Iconic Rio de Janeiro Landmarks!

We had the best time on this tour! Luciana served as our tour guide, and she was exceptional. She was very informative and kept up with our group throughout the tour stops. This tour was well planned, and we were able to see many of Rio's iconic landmarks in one day, with all admission fees included in the overall tour price. In the future, I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Rio de Janeiro!

Very friendly & safe!

I’ve been handgliding, skydiving, and more many times, but paragliding today was by far my most comfortable and easy experience. My instructors & most staff were able to communicate with me in English and Spanish. I felt very safe and the flight was super easy and relaxed. Lots of time to enjoy the view and multiple cameras available
