The tour was great! Very informative and so relaxing just to be in nature. I was particularly impressed by the level of service given by Mitch in arranging the pick up from and to our door even though on Top10Adventures®s website our area was not within pick up range. It was unexpected and greatfully recieved. One thing that I would say is that I was glad I found the contact number for Mitch (took me a while) and dealt with him directly as when initially dealing with Top10Adventures® my queries were not answered. Their customer service caused me to be quite frustrated to the point of cancelling my tour. However glad I persisted. Well done Mitch, keep up the good work! THANK YOU.....definitely recommended.

highlight of my trip 10/10!

10/10 experience!! This was honestly one of the best excursions I’ve ever done. We got to see so much wildlife alligators, little snakes, crabs, catfish, clams, flamingos, and sooo many different birds. It was such a cool experience seeing everything up close in its natural habitat. Also the swamp was full of mangroves it was mind blowing.The person who organized everything was AMAZING. He went above and beyond to make sure we got there on time and made it home safely. Since I’m young and not familiar with traveling around Trinidad, he communicated with us every step of the way and made the whole experience stress free. He even provided water, mosquito repellent, and arranged a reliable driver for us, which I really appreciated.The tour guide was also incredible. He was super knowledgeable and made the tour so interesting by explaining everything we were seeing, good personality he made funny jokes. On top of that, the pineapple and mango chow was SO good!If you’re visiting Trinidad, I 1000% recommend booking this tour. You won’t regret it!

Ellis Clarke is the best guide in Tobago!

We had Ellis guide us around Tobago 13 years ago. He was wonderful then and even better this time. He picked us up at the airport and took us to our bnb stopping at the grocery store. He picked us up the next day and we went to the Argyle falls. It had rained heavily the days before so the water was muddy. Ellis walked with us pointing out the plants and birds. Then we went through the forest preserve and saw wonderful greenery. Out of the forest we stopped at the hummingbird sanctuary and everyone was able to hand feed the hummingbirds! An unbelievable experience. On the way to the boat we stopped at some beautiful bays. Next we got some awesome local food and went to the glass bottom boat to go snorkeling on the reef and the nylon pool. Incredible!! Ellis is the best there is. I would definitely ask him a third time the next time go to Tobago.

Maracas Beach Private Tour a must do!!!

Our driver Sharvon was right on time, we took our time going thru POS, and lingered around the Savanah and he even show us the different embassies since my hubby had questions about those, before heading to Maracas. Sharvon was very knowledge of the country and even reminded me of some things I had forgotten after being gone from the country for over 20yrs. We did not get to go to the beach because it started raining right as we got there, but we did enjoy the Bake and Shark at Uncle Sam's and the other delicious treats at the beach and along the way. We highly recommend Nick and his crew looking for a private tour that caters to what you want to do.

A pleasant few hours in the mangroves

A couple of hours going through the mangroves. Saw quite a bit of wildlife but the passengers were noisy and scared most away! When we booked it said a max of 8 people but the numbers in the boat were much higher. Flamingos were good to see. Saw scarlet ibis but the numbers were low and far away. Take binoculars and long lenses to get a better view. An enjoyable trip but more a tourist sight seeing tour than something for nature lovers.

An amazing time..!!

My partner and I were only in Trinidad for a night very short stay but managed to book Nick to go to Maracas beach. Along the way he stopped and showed us interesting parts of Trinidad that not pointed out we would have never known. He took us to the best food spots in Trinidad and was a great experience to try out the most popular Trini dishes. Nick was an amazing tour guide who went above and beyond for us even taking us to the street vendor food market on Saturday. The next time we visit we will be sure to book Nick again and definitely stay longer to do more. If visiting for a long or short stay Nick will help.Thank you once again Simone

Derailed by the weather, saved by the tour guide: the best of Maracas beach

Maracas beach was amazing with the vibrancy of the local cuisine on full display at the various food vendors located right along the beach.Marcus arrived promptly at the agreed upon time to whisk me away to relaxation while listening to waves lapping the shoreline. While on our way, we stopped at the most gorgeous overlook of a bay that had several concessionaires selling their various wares and delicacies. Marcus suggested the pickled pine (pineapple) that was eaten later that evening and was full of flavor, worth flying back for another baggie of it.Due to the impending inclement weather, we were unable to proceed to the waterfall but due to Marcus’ thorough knowledge of the area, he took me to an alternate private beach where we were only 2, of 6 people around to enjoy the peace and serenity that Trinidad features if you choose to slow down and listen. It was literal peace listening to the waves splashing into the sand and the wind sweeping through the swaying palm trees. We reclined the seats in the exceptional comfort of the tour van and just existed in tranquility.Whilst on our way back to the Airbnb, we again stopped at Maracas beach and feasted on a bake, which can be best described by this picky eater as freshly rolled dough stuffed with a potato-like mash, then quickly fried, before adding the freshest lettuce/tomatoes/onions and scrumptious sauces before obliterating it. It was heavenly.We made the best of this day by going with the flow of the weather which can change rather quickly.

Peter and his mates know these waters very well and clearly enjoy fishing. They were helpful and kept the boat clean throughout. Even though it was not high season I got to catch a decent tarpon.

Wayne was brilliant

We had a change of plans as we were going to pigeon point beach. Then found out a cruise boat had docked into Scarborough. So we decided to visit the Rain forest instead but we were too late for that day. Until Wayne came to our rescue. He drove us along the Caribbean coast then we went into the rain forest. We saw many birds that Wayne spotted for us, so knowledgeable. The best was the hummingbird when it hoovered it had white tail beautiful. We saw a few crabs in their holes but we do have a lot of crabs in the uk. On the way back I had a snake coming straight for me, was I scared No as it was no bigger than a worm nut a snake a snake. On our journey back Wayne took us down the Atlantic side of the island showing us many sites & rich people homes again. We stopped off at the King George fort the views were lovely & we saw Cruise liner. Well worth £75 each & such a character

Great experience in Port of Spain

Excellent experience here today!Anjee is an excellent host and a great cook.We did almost all of the prep for this meal and it was great fun. We even had a couple of little helpers that made sure we were doing it right.The curried chicken, roti and geera pork were outstanding. Curried potatoes with chick peas was a great accompaniment.Views were great and the weather was perfect.Transportation from the port was scenic and seamless.Strongly recommend you come here.

Best excursion

Best excursion for me! Nick got me from hyatt hotel, he then take me to the Caroni Swamp. We saw the big flocks of the scarlet ibis that you see in the brochures, But we also saw flocks of pink flamingos, boas hanging from the trees, Cayman crocodiles, a tiny anteater, and more egrets and other birds to count.this was so much fun. After Nick took me for doubles in port of spain. I would fo this when i come back in May. Thanks Nick for the Fun time!

Anjee is not only a great host and knowledgeable cook, she is an outstanding teacher. The meal we ourselves prepared with her instruction was not only delicious but truly rivaled the Trinidadian dishes we've enjoyed at restaurants and friends' homes. We left confident of our ability to replicate them at our house...buoyed by Anjee's offer to call her any time we had a question.The view from her patio out over the entire city and waterfront is, in itself, a reason to book this experience, and the effortless pickup and drop-off made it a stress free excursion. Highly recommended!
