this is a superb walk, with a sun blessed aspect, through landscape rich in cultivation on the neighbourhoods of Funchal, a mixture of sea and mountains views is going to delight you. This walk starts in Cabo Girão passing through the valey of Quinta Grande and Campanario.

What To Expect
It is an easy and pleasant course that can be done at any time of the year, because it is located in the south of the Island, where the climate is milder.
Along the way, it is possible to appreciate the fantastic views that are emerging, where the parishes of Câmara de Lobos and Campanário stand out. In these views the hiker can still observe the green fields, the carefully worked plantations and the set of houses and buildings that form the villages. From time to time, you can meet a local from the area that is dealing with your land, or just taking a walk.
There are also diverse species of fauna and flora of this place. Enjoy a break from time to time and enjoy the magnificent views and the surroundings. Let yourself be revitalized by nature!
