This is a half-day scuba diving experience to the unspoiled island of Pserimos, designed specifically for first-time divers looking for a safe and relaxed introduction to the underwater world of the Aegean Sea.

What To Expect
Departing from Kos at approximately 09:00, this half-day family-run boat trip takes you to Pserimos Island for a guided introduction to scuba diving. Return to Kos in the afternoon. Scuba diving is often highlighted by guests as one of the most memorable parts of their holiday in Kos. Upon boarding, guests receive a safety and equipment briefing covering breathing techniques, diving procedures, and essential instructions for beginners. Guests are divided into small groups of 4–5 participants, each supervised by 2 certified PADI instructors for safety and personal attention. The dive takes place in a calm, sheltered bay with shallow waters reaching a maximum depth of 5 meters, ideal for beginners, with excellent visibility for a safe underwater experience. The first dive lasts around 20–25 minutes and is fully guided. After the dive, guests return to the boat and enjoy a relaxing break. The boat remains anchored in an uncrowded location, allowing time to swim, snorkel, or relax on the sun deck. A second dive is available for guests who wish to continue diving, while others may relax on board and enjoy the sea. The boat returns to Kos at 14:30 after an unforgettable experience.

Participants in the Kos: Beginner Scuba Diving Experience in Pserimos Island cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive.
The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS.
Jun 2024If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
