Had a terrific experience on this tour. The van picked up us at the cruise port, was clean and we'll air conditioned. They brought us to the ruins at Olympia, a great spot for lunch right near the ruins and the "Olive Oil Mill" which was a unique experience. We skipped the beach stop at the end as we were all kind of tired so the brought us back to the port instead. The excursion was affordable, worth every penny and more. Thanks for a great time!

One beach buggy tour was AMAZING! First of all, the beach buggy vehicles themselves turn heads as we drove through the streets of Katakolon, playing our fave 80's tunes on the Bluetooth radio. Our guide George took us to various beaches and spots that were heaven on Earth, where we were able to take pictures that we treasure now that were back home. George stopped at a wonderful restaurant where we sipped on Ouzo and local Greek beer along with a stop at a beach club for a few hours where we took a dip in the Agean Sea and soaked up some sun. Driving along the back roads with all of the breathtakingly gorgeous views is something we will never forget! We highly recommend booking the Beach Buggy experience! Trust us, you will not be disappointed and will go home with memories of a lifetime. Thanks again, George!!

Bus to the beach was great. Pick up and drop off were on time, the bus was clean and comfortable and had good AC. Beach was excellent. Loungers were available, drinks and food was reasonably priced and the water was refreshing and calm. Excellent day and I would recommend.

We originally planned to take the train to Olympia, but booked this transportation when we figured out the train times did not align with when our cruise was in port. We were tired of in depth tours, so this was just perfect. Tina provided some information on the drive and Teo did an excellent job driving.

Traveling with children can sometimes be challenging, but this tour was very well organized and enjoyable for everyone. The visit to Ancient Olympia was fascinating, and our guide explained the history in a way that kept both adults and kids interested. The pace was comfortable, so we never felt rushed. Having extra leisure time afterward was a wonderful addition because we could enjoy a coffee, browse local souvenir shops, and simply take in the atmosphere. Transportation was comfortable, and everything ran according to schedule, making it easy to return to the cruise port without stress. This was a memorable family experience that balanced education, relaxation, and sightseeing perfectly.

Tina and Panos were great from the start. Helpful, polite and thoroughly knowledgeable about history and local life. No sales pitches , no gimmicks. An extremely easy tour that my family enjoyed very much. Great value for money. Highly recommend.

He is truly one of the most genuine, kind, and knowledgeable tour guides we’ve ever had.Throughout the day, he shared so much fascinating history about Olympia, the surrounding area, and Greek culture. His passion for his country made every stop even more meaningful.I had sprained my ankle in Rome a couple of days before our tour, and Theo immediately went into caretaker mode. He drove me and my family right to the Olympic grounds so I wouldn’t have to walk any farther than necessary. He constantly checked on me, made sure I was comfortable, and treated me like I was part of his own family.He was also incredible with my teenagers. They absolutely adored him and even gave him the nickname “The GGOAT”—the Greatest Greek of All Time! We were laughing all day.After touring Olympia, we asked if he knew a place for authentic Greek food. He took us to a wonderful family-owned restaurant where we sampled so many traditional Greek dishes. It ended up being one of the best meals of our entire trip!When the kids wanted to spend some time at the beach afterward, Theo brought us to a beautiful resort with an amazing beach where they could swim and explore while I relaxed. He even made sure I had ice on my ankle the entire time because it had started swelling. That level of care is something we’ll never forget.Theo’s hospitality, kindness, sense of humor, and genuine care made our day in Olympia one of the highlights of our Mediterranean cruise. He didn’t just show us Olympia—he made us feel welcomed into Greece.If I ever have friends or family traveling to Olympia, I will recommend Theo without hesitation. I booked this beach transportation to do with two of my teenagers who didn't want to explore the ruins of Olympia. Communication was very good and we were able to find our meeting point easily. We were a group of approximately 10 people from the cruise and were transported on a very comfortable 20-person bus with great air conditioning.We had chosen to leave at 9:15, so when we got to the beach it was quiet and we had our pick of sun lounges. By the time we left to meet our guide and head back to the cruise ship, the beach was packed! It was a beautiful day in mid-june, and the water in the Ionian sea was very clear and cold. We ordered drinks and lunch from the waiters on site. Prices were reasonable considering we were on the beach.Everything flowed very smoothly and our guide was very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend this as an alternative to exploring Olympia.

From the pick up to the drop off, this tour was very well organized! A driver, our tour guide Nikoletta, and even a licensed tour guide for the archeological site of Olympia & the museum! The cooking class at the family owned restaurant was so much fun. Maria taught us to prepare Tatzikki & zucchini fritters! The hospitality was 5 star and the food was so delicious! A tour & tasting at a local olive oil mill was also very nice! On to Olympia for our private tour at an accelerated pace, which we requested. Very interesting & informative. I would highly recommend visiting olympia in the afternoon. No crowds and it’s not as hot. We had the option to stop at a beach with lovely views, but time didn’t allow. Nikoletta knew we had to tender back to our cruise ship, and she made sure we were back with time to spare! A perfect afternoon leaving us with great memories of Katakalo🇬🇷❤️

Giannis was our driver/guide and he was fantastic! We really enjoyed all parts that was perfectly arranged. The restaurant for lunch that was recommended was delicious and my family really loved the olive oil tasting. The van is really comfortable and is more like a luxury bus. Recommend this tour for other tourists!

Great day! Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable about the island! We loved going to local places that were not as crowded as some of the main tourist spots!

This was an amazing experience! We were picked up at the port and taken right to Olympia where we did the cooking class in a family restaurant. It was so fun and delicious! Then we went to the ancient Olympia site where a guide took us around the grounds and through the museum. After that, we stopped by an olive oil farm where we tasted several oils and were able to purchase them to take home. Finally, we had free time at a beach where we walked, swam and grabbed some drinks. This was one of the best tours my friends and family have ever taken. We would suggest 100 times over! Thank you for a great, authentic experience! We will remember this day for years to come.
