    What To Expect

    This diving activity is perfect for those with no previous diving experience. It is a 3-4 hour introductory course, offering a lifetime experience you'll always remember. We visit a nice, weather-protected spot with a confined water environment that is very safe for beginners. Starting from very shallow depths and gradually reaching 4-5 meters, you'll learn to breathe underwater and perform some simple skills. Then, we'll take a scenic underwater tour back to the boat. The visibility is excellent, extending over 40 meters. Your instructor will be with you at all times, ensuring a safe and enjoyable first-time diving experience. This is one of our most popular diving activities!

    Participants in the DSD | Discover scuba Diving Experience in Paros cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive.

    The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS.

    A:

    If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
