2-Hour Surf Lesson in Alentejo
Overview
These lessons promise a lot of fun and are aimed not only at students who want to venture in a surf lesson for the first time but also for those who are already familiar with the sport, since the group members are always divided by the instructors according to their experience level.
The role of the instructor adapts to the experience and progress of the student, always encouraging his/her autonomy and stepping in to suggest, correct and criticise through a thorough analysis and continuous feedback.
By providing a set of goals (each with specific content), students can better evaluate themselves, manage their challenges and expectations and, along with their instructor, learn, improve and thrive.
These are classes in which students learn together, challenge each other and exchange countless laughs. It is also an excellent opportunity to test what you consider to be your own limits and how to exceed your capabilities and expectations.

What To Expect
Regardless of the experience level, every lesson have a duration of 2 hours: the theoretical part is in the first 20 – 30 minutes, immediately followed by the warm-up, and then it’s 90 minutes of practice in the water.
These are possibly the most fun surf lessons, especially for those who are starting to practice this sport!
It’s a great environment for those who enjoy learning in a group, challenge the others while being challenged in return, and share a lot of laughs. It’s also a great opportunity to check what students consider their physical/psychological limitations, and get to the end of the lesson completely worn-out (there’s no way we can deny that), but with a sense of fulfilment and self-accomplishment by overcoming those said limitations.
Every lesson includes:
Material – board, wetsuit and leash;
Personal Accident and Indemnity Insurance;
Transportation to the beach (if necessary);
Individual performance evaluation;
Instructors accredited by the Portuguese Surfing Federation (FPS);

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
