What To Expect

Diving trips for certified divers, from a boat, to the best dive sites on the south coast of the island of São Miguel!

Briefing, washing and drying station and equipment storage are at your disposal for greater convenience. Rental equipment available.

From October to June we have daily departures at 9am and 2pm. From July to September we have daily single dive trips at 2:30pm. After the Pack is booked, we schedule the next dives in the dive center.

Q: How soon can I fly in an airplane after Scuba diving?

A: Participants in the Double Scuba Diving cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive. The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS. Read more Jun 2024

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
