What To Expect
Do you know that codfish is one of the biggest allies of the Portuguese people? It has been part of our history since the XIV century!
We invite you to join us on a trip of flavours where you´ll learn all the secrets about this amazing fish! You will be presented with a cooking lesson by a local with a lifetime of experience. At the end, you will have the opportunity to savour the dish made with your help and of course, Portuguese wine, starters and dessert are also included!
The meeting point of this experience will be in the traditional market of Campo de Ourique, one of the most picturesque neighbourhoods in Lisbon. You will get to know this market with a local person, and then you'll head to the neighbourhood's social centre, where you'll learn to cook one of the thousand and one cod recipes!
While you learn, you will also have the opportunity to snack on typical Portuguese starters and wine!
At the end of the class, you will taste the dish made with your own hands! We guarantee you, two local people full of knowledge and experiences to share.
