Overview
Cerritos Beach is one of the most consistent surf locations in Baja California Sur, receiving Pacific swells that create rideable waves throughout much of the year. Its wide sandy beach and variety of wave conditions make it suitable for surfers of different experience levels. Beyond learning how to stand on a board, surfing teaches participants how to read wave patterns, understand ocean movement, and develop confidence in the water. Cerritos has become an important part of Baja's surf culture, attracting travelers and local surfers alike with its combination of accessible waves and relaxed coastal atmosphere.

Meeting and Pickup
• Complimentary round-trip transportation is available from hotels in Cabo San Lucas and the Tourist Corridor• If your hotel is not listed, feel free to contact us so we can check transportation availability for your area• Guests arriving with their own vehicle may meet directly at Cerritos Beach (Big Fun Beach Club Parking Area), where the surfing lesson begins from the beach• Hotels outside the main tourist area, including Hard Rock, Nobu, Rancho San Lucas, Diamante, or Four Seasons, are not included in complimentary transportation and will meet at Plaza Gali OXXO in Cabo San Lucas• Cruise guests will also meet at Plaza Gali OXXO, approximately 3–5 minutes walking from the marina exit. Detailed walking directions will be provided with your confirmation message• Cabo San Lucas cruise arrivals operate using tender boats, which may take additional time depending on port operations. We strongly recommend taking the earliest tender available or booking priority tender service whenever possible• Guests who miss transportation or arrive late must arrive directly at Cerritos Beach before the activity start time at their own expense

What To Expect
Escape the resort corridor and head to Cerritos Beach, one of Baja California Sur's most recognized surf destinations. This surf lesson combines professional instruction with the relaxed atmosphere of the Pacific coast, creating an ideal environment for both first-time surfers and those looking to improve their skills.
Upon arrival, your instructor introduces the fundamentals of surfing, including safety, paddling technique, wave selection, and proper board positioning before entering the water. The lesson then moves into the surf zone, where you'll practice techniques and build confidence while receiving continuous coaching throughout the session.

- This experience requires favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to unsafe weather, ocean conditions, or operational restrictions, guests will be offered an alternative date or full refund
- No locker facilities are available, but belongings may usually remain inside the transportation vehicle during the activity

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
